On March 31, a provincial research delegation visited SUPREME Intelligent Manufacturing and its intelligent warehousing division in Yinzhou District, Ningbo, to learn about the company’s progress in engineering talent development, high-end equipment manufacturing, and digital factory solutions.
During the visit, the delegation toured SUPREME’s production workshops, R&D facilities, and intelligent manufacturing systems, gaining first-hand insight into how the company integrates advanced engineering expertise with industrial innovation.
Officials from the Ningbo Municipal and Yinzhou District advisory bodies, along with representatives from related departments, accompanied the visit.
The delegation first visited SUPREME’s corporate showroom and intelligent sewing technology exhibition area.
Chairman Mr. Luo introduced the company’s development journey over the past two decades. Founded in 2006, SUPREME achieved an early milestone in 2008 by launching its first bartacking machine, breaking the long-standing dominance of foreign brands in this segment.
Today, the company has evolved into an integrated solution provider with a dual focus on:
Intelligent sewing equipment
Smart warehousing and logistics systems
SUPREME has been recognized as a National Manufacturing Single Champion Enterprise, a National “Little Giant” innovation enterprise, and a Zhejiang Provincial Hidden Champion. The company also operates a provincial-level enterprise technology center and industrial design center, reinforcing its role as a leading manufacturer in China’s sewing machinery industry.
The delegation acknowledged SUPREME’s successful transformation from a traditional equipment manufacturer into a provider of integrated smart manufacturing solutions.

The delegation then visited SUPREME’s Intelligent Warehousing and Sorting Center, a highly automated logistics hub that supports both internal production and external customer solutions.
The system integrates several advanced technologies, including:
Bin-handling robots
Miniload stacker cranes
Side-fork AGVs
IBOX intelligent sorting units
Together, these technologies enable automated storage and distribution of tens of thousands of material bins.
Submersible AGVs are capable of autonomously calling elevators, allowing unmanned material transportation between floors. This system demonstrates how intelligent logistics can seamlessly connect with production lines to improve efficiency and operational flexibility.
SUPREME has also developed its own WMS, MES, and RCS systems, enabling deep integration between manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations to create flexible, intelligent, and data-driven factories.

Engineering talent development was a key focus of the visit.
SUPREME has established a comprehensive talent strategy covering recruitment, training, development, and retention of engineering professionals.
Through platforms such as its provincial enterprise technology center and postdoctoral research workstation, the company collaborates closely with universities to promote industry–academia–research cooperation.
These partnerships aim to cultivate engineers who combine technical expertise with practical manufacturing experience. Today, SUPREME’s R&D team includes an increasing number of highly educated and experienced technical specialists, providing strong support for technological innovation and product development.

Looking ahead, SUPREME will continue to strengthen its engineering talent development programs, including initiatives such as the Young Eagle Program, designed to nurture the next generation of technical leaders.
The company will further expand its expertise in areas such as:
Industrial sewing equipment
Intelligent warehousing and logistics robots
Smart cleaning robots
These technologies are already serving customers across industries including apparel, footwear, automotive, 3C electronics, pharmaceuticals, photovoltaics, and advanced manufacturing.
By focusing on digital factory solutions, SUPREME aims to help manufacturers achieve higher efficiency, improved quality, and lower operational costs, supporting the global transition toward intelligent manufacturing.
